Now Hiring a Minimum Data Set Coordinator (MDS Coordinator)

Job Description:

As the Minimum Data Set Coordinator (MDS Coordinator), you will conduct and coordinate the development, completion and transmission of the resident assessment in accordance with the requirements of this state and policies and goals of this facility.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years’ of MDS experience
• Nursing degree from accredited college
• Current and unencumbered LVN/LPN or RN license in the state
• Knowledge of clinical standards of practice, regulations and reimbursement governing long term care and Medicare participation
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
