2nd shift tooling technician

This non-union automotive tier 1 supplier is seeking a second shift tooling technician. Responsibilities are as follows:

Read blueprints for engineering changes.
Strive to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all tooling.
Support engineering and quality departments in implementation of tooling modifications and installation/start up of new tools.
Work with process, quality and maintenance to resolve scrap and rework issues.
Perform tool changes as required.
Complete work orders timely when assigned.

Requirements:

Machine Tool Certification and/or three (3) years’ industrial machining experience
Ability to TIG and MIG weld (Aluminum and Steel)
Ability to read blueprints.
Experience with machine shop equipment required (Lathe, vertical mill, surface grinder, drill press, etc.)
Operation of air tools.
Working knowledge of metric measuring system.
