Access Manager - $3000 hiring bonus available.

General Summary of Duties: The Access team Program Manager provides leadership to develop and implement multiple programs.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Access Screener Supervisor and Intake Clinicians

Major Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • Ensure that all Policies and Procedures for the Access Department are kept up to date and promptly distributed to staff. Ensure that communications from upper management are distributed as appropriate and needed.
  • Oversee the functioning of the multiple sites to ensure all Access staff is adhering to the KMHS Access Department's policies and procedures and their site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all Access Department staff are provided with ongoing clinical consultation, supervision, and training.
  • Work with community partners to ensure that up to date information about KMHS and the Access Department is provided and ensure that the referral process runs smoothly to ensure quality client care and treatment.
  • Recruit and make hiring decisions for all Access team positions ensuring a commitment to customer service.
  • In collaboration with the Access Screener Supervisor, oversee the onboarding process for all new hires.
  • In collaboration with the Access Screener Supervisor, conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching/discipline as applicable. Ensure facilitation of professional growth of all Access team members.
  • Participate in program development and management tasks. Operate as a member of the management team. Work with other supervisors and unit managers to develop programs, including assessing and communicating program needs, formulating ongoing program goals, and participating in quality program reviews. Help develop and implement agency policies and participate in problem-solving regarding clinical and fiscal issues.
  • Collaborate with KMHS management teams to establish and monitor essential service measures, including clinical effectiveness, efficiency, and customer satisfaction measures.
  • Collaborate with Information Services to develop reports and collect data to help the agency plan and coordinate screening and intake coordination needs.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable RCWs, WACs and other regulatory and contractual requirements. Stay up to date on any new regulations affecting the departments compliance.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION: Masters Degree in Psychology, social services, or a mental health field.

EXPERIENCE: Specialist (minimum 5 years of job-related experience)

Certification as a Mental Health Professional. Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS).

Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license with an acceptable motor vehicle report and reliable personal transportation.

LICENSURE: Washington state license in social work or mental health field.

Preferred Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE: Expert (established subject matter expert, 7+ years of experience)
