Job Responsibilities: What you will do

Incumbents are to meet all customer expectations by providing world class service through effective communication to both internal and external customers while improving company profitability. Incumbents may be assigned to work weekend, 2nd or 3rd shift based on company and customer needs.

  • Ensure all info is accurate and entered correctly.
  • Ensure all loads are meeting service requirements.
  • Track loads and provide accurate efficient updates.
  • Frequently contact customers to ensure compliance with contracts and to acquire new opportunities to handle their freight.
  • On-board new customers.
  • Assist planners with freight and trailer needs.
  • Stay current on rates and capacity and keep other departments and/or LOB's informed.
  • Ensure a successful hand off to next shift and those Customer Account Managers are informed of on-going concerns.
  • Produce quality opportunities through lead generation.
  • Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objective.


Qualifications: What you need to bring

  • Previous customer service or related area in transportation industry preferred.
  • Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
  • Must possess outstanding telephone skills.
  • Must be able to set priorities.
  • Must possess excellent time management skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Must be able to adapt to changing priorities.
