Job Description

Position Summary:

The Account Manager owns the responsibility for executing client projects on time, within scope, and on budget that meet client’s expectations. Account Managers work with clients to determine project objections, set client expectations and work with internal teams to develop timelines and deliverables to meet client needs. The Account Manager will provide team with all information and tools needed in order to be successful. The Account Manager is an essential touch point along the entire process and responsible for client satisfaction. This position is located onsite at our corporate headquarters in Eugene, OR.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Review project proposals and define scope of projects.
  • Establish budget and timeline for each phase of project.
  • Maintain timelines, forecasts and collaborate with Account Executives
  • Confer with project staff to outline work plan.
  • Communicate, produce and distribute schedules to all appropriate parties
  • Direct and coordinate activity of project personnel
  • Confer with Client Services team to assess progress, discuss changes and revisions
  • Work with master schedule and purchasing to provide schedule information and or changes, assure purchase of material and provide sufficient lead times
  • Review Quotes, details and where possible elevations for accuracy
  • Review project status reports, prepare account reports for management, and document project details and meeting recaps
  • Occasional travel for client meetings, including air and ground transportation may be required

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline.
  • 2 years experience in project management or related field.

Required Skills:

  • 2 to 5 years of progressive growth in Project Management related tasks such as, Project Coordinator, Planner, Estimator, or other related experience.
  • High level of organization and the ability to prioritize, keep time lines and due dates.
  • Demonstrates good judgment and decision making based on information given.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access.
  • Above average proficiency in MRP and ERP software.
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
