Accounting Assistant

As Accounting Assistant you’ll play a major role during premium tax season conducting assignments involving tax accounting.

Some of your tasks include: 

•     Premium tax compliance and administration

•     Preparation and filing premium tax filings as well as supporting work papers on a timely basis during peak filing season. 

Requirements:
•     Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
•     Prior tax preparation experience preferred (college internship or part-time relevant work experience will be considered)
•     Strong proficiency in Excel is a must
•     Must possess strong attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to analyze large amounts of data
•     Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The Accounting Assistant  is a full-time, contract opportunity in Springfield through May 2023.
