MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants. *Description* * Working directly with firm executives and service providers to drive the accounting and reporting processes for the firm and all funds under management, capturing investment activity, fee and expense accruals, and other activity * Assisting with cash flow, liquidity and budget management, overseeing accounts payable tasks * Assisting with year-end audits and tax preparation, including compilation of financial statements and footnotes and reviewing prepared tax documents * Preparing and calculating capital calls and allocations, capital contributions and distributions, including management fee and carried interest calculations * Assisting with asset management and investor reporting for current and future portfolio investments * Partnering with internal and external legal counsel to ensure loan and regulatory compliance * Participating in improvement initiatives around portfolio management, internal controls, policies and procedures * Bachelor's / Masters in Accounting or Finance * CPA preferred * 4-5 years of experience in public accounting or in private equity/venture capital/investment management * Strong GAAP knowledge * Highly numerate, methodical in prioritizing work and multi-tasking and able to demonstrate attention to detail Our client is an investment firm focused on the intersection of the digital and physical worlds.
