Lenawee Medical Care Facility is proud to serve senior care patients through a holistic approach. Our nursing home is set up in mini-communities that are clean, vibrant and active, exhibiting an at-home atmosphere that is personalized for each resident. We offer traditional nursing services such as therapy, hospice care, long-term care, and skilled nursing. Our rehabilitative therapy services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, along with therapeutic recreation.

Requirements for Employment

Provide proof of a High School Diploma or GED

Pass a Criminal Background Check, Pre-employment Physical and Drug Screen

 Job Summary

Assist with transporting elders to activities. Pass out elder mail and newspapers. Assist with executing the activity calendar events (games, crafts, movies, cognitive enrichment, 1:1 visits, manicures, etc.)

Working conditions include standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, and reaching frequently. Possible exposure to conditions normally expected of elder care areas, such as unpleasant sights, odors and difficult interpersonal situations. Potential for injury and exposure to blood and body fluids and communicable diseases. Physical demands include ability to lift up to 20 pounds and ability to stand for long periods of time.
