Job Description

An award-winning acute care hospital located in central Vermont is now searching for an experienced Acute Care Social Worker to join their accredited healthcare team.

This state-of-the-art facility is home to over 100-beds and performs services for more than 35 medical and surgical specialties. Reporting to the Director of Case Management, the Acute Care Social Worker will work with various patient populations, perform assessments on social and emotional status, provide support and education for both patients and families, assist with utilization review services, and provide referral services. The Acute Care Social Worker will also attend all required safety training and demonstrate professionalism at all times.

Requirements Include:

• Master’s degree in Social Work MSW required
• Prior experience working in an acute care setting
• Working knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements
