Hours for this position:

11am – 7 pm hours or 12pm to 8pm, hours are flexible based on admission flow

Here is what is needed to be part of this amazing team:

The Admission Nurse is responsible for initial admission and re-admission assessments, as well as medication reconciliation, warm hand off from discharging hospital and initial care planning.  

• Must be licensed as an LPN or RN in RI
• Must demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures and pre-and post-op care
• Must demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology, abbreviations, and spelling
• Ability to demonstrate the use of various equipment including but not limited to copier, calculator and computer
• Ability to use adult learning principles when teaching patients
• Ability to prioritize and problem solve
• Ability to relate well with physicians
• Full COVID vaccination
