Analyst

Mountain-Pacific Quality Health has a full-time analyst position open to join our team and helpus summarize, report and interpret health care data. 

Our field staff meet regularly with health care providers in our regions to find solutions, and weneed creative analysts to contribute to those conversations. The successful applicant willpossess the technical skills needed to push our analyses and data visualizations forward as wellas the openness to learn what questions to pursue from our staff and clinical partners.

This position is responsible for the following: 
• Working with large, confidential health datasets to provide meaningful and criticalinsights for routine contract-metric reporting, health data research and ad hoc datarequests 
• Manage a dynamic schedule of projects and deliverables within the analytics teamPosition requirements include: 
• Degree in a data-related fieldPreferred technical skills: 
• SAS 
• SQL 
• R/Python 
• Power BI/Tableau dashboard construction 
• Familiarity with health care billing data 
• Knowledge of demographic research sources and methodologies, statistical methodsand predictive analytics 
• Experience in an analytic or consulting role within public health, a health care system orresearch capacity 
• Knowledge of data stewardship practices and guidelines
