My client is a well established and stable manufacturer of custom automated manufacturing equipment / production solutions. Global sales for the entire business is around $500MM annually. They are presently seeking an Application Engineer to join their sales team. Will be responsible for the technical side of the company's initial sales / communications with their customers: RFQs, initial design / proposal prep, cost & time estimates to produce the company's custom automated machinery per customer specifications.

• BSME / MET or an Associate degree with a combination of coursework and experience is required.
• A minimum of 1 to 5 years of machine design experience is required. Will consider good CO-OP Machine Design experience.
• Must also have good customer interface experience. Prior sales / applications engineering experience is strongly preferred.
• Must have hands-on experience or training involving 3D Solid Modeling using SolidWorks, and/or AutoCAD 3D / Inventor. Company primarily using SolidWorks.
• Experience in utilizing Microsoft Office products is a must.
• Enhanced written and communication skills is required.
