Application Support Analyst

The Application Support Analyst will provide support to users around the globe, by ensuring users satisfaction with swift solutions to the application issues and maintaining high availability of applications. This position is a hybrid role – partially on site, partially remote. Must be in Cincinnati.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Support manufacturing and lab systems and related users in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Involved in Incident and Service Request Management
• Provide workarounds to end-users based on Service Level Goals
• Establish procedures and provide user guidance
• Maintain documentation
• Maintain and stay current with evolving application technology
• Monitor data quality, implement and set up standard mass uploads, reports and measurements for repetitive execution when dealing with master data

Requirements :

• BS in Computer Science or related discipline, and at least 1+ years experience in Applications Support in a chemical or manufacturing industry
• Hands-on SQL and Visual Basic programming and troubleshooting expertise
• Experienced in working with utilities like Oracle SQL Developer and TOAD
• Experience working with Oracle 11, 12 and 19 databases desired but not required
• Understanding of data interfacing concepts
• Familiarity with SAP or CMS LCMS MWS (Manufacturing Execution Systems)desired but not required
