Our Interim Director of Nursing (DON) supports our locations throughout a specific region. She/he will travel to our senior living communities to step in as acting DON as needed.

What you'll be doing:

1. Works at assigned campus as Interim DHS as determined to by Operational and Clinical team.
2. Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates, and directs nursing services programs and activities.
3. Interprets the policies and procedures of the health campus to employees, residents, family members,
visitors, government agencies, etc., as necessary. Ensures that public information (policy manuals, etc.)
describing the services provided in the health campus are accurate and fully descriptive. Ensures that all
employees, residents, visitors, and the general public follow established policies and procedures.
4. Represents the health campus nursing department in dealings with outside agencies, including
governmental agencies and third party payers, or provide an authorized representative of the facility when
unable to attend such meetings.
5. Maintains a reference library of written nursing material (e.g. PDR's federal and state regulations, etc.) that
will assist the nursing services department in meeting the day-to-day needs of the residents.
6. Develops and implements a nursing service organizational structure.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Degreed Registered Nurse
• This position requires travel between the senior living communities
• Five (5) to seven (7) years of healthcare experience including prior experience as a successful Director of Nursing / DON
• Extensive knowledge of state survey process for Long Term Care
