The City of Grand Forks is searching for an Assistant City Engineer that will possess superior management skills, leadership skills and abilities as well as have extensive experience in problem solving, public presentations, and provide strategic technical support to the City Engineer. The Engineering department has a staff of 17 that manages and coordinates the design and construction of the street and municipal infrastructure projects within the City of Grand Forks.

Requirements for this position include a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and six years of increasing responsible municipal civil engineering experience including three years of supervisory experience. The ideal candidate will have a preference for and experience in a growing community and have a ND Professional Engineer’s license or have the ability to obtain a license.
