We are looking for a Construction Superintendent to join our client leading field operations in in Rockville, MD.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Assistant Superintendent, here are some of your key responsibilities:

• Assist Superintendent in overseeing project or specific area of project. 
• Assist with preparation of daily reports documenting jobsite progress
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, clients, designers, consultants and the surrounding community
• Assist with QA/QC for the project 
• Demonstrate commitment to an Injury-Free Environment and administer Environmental, Health and Safety Management Program

WHAT WE SEEK IN A CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

• Experience working as part of ground-up or existing facility construction projects in $50M+ range (will consider $20M+ if body of work is strong) in high-rises preferred, or in one or more of the following industries:
  • Healthcare (hospitals, ER rooms, surgery centers, etc.)
  • Life Sciences (not the same as healthcare. Examples would be pharmaceutical buildings, clean rooms, medical device manufacturing plants, biosciences facilities, etc.).
  • Higher education
  • K-12 education
• Technology proficient, Knowledge of Prolog, with the ability to adapt to new innovations and processes
• Communication and relationship building skills
• Problem solving skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or equivalent/applicable degree
• 3+ years' experience on construction projects
