JOB DESCRIPTION – Assistant Controller
What is needed in this role:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA with blend of public/private, Big 4 preferred
• Strong communication, both oral and written
• Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment
• Sharp analytical skills

Other responsibilities (Overview):

• Oversee month/year-end close process
• Prepare financial statements and consolidation for all entities
• Review/approve accruals, journal entries, and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Prepare and review presentation decks to senior management
• Manage day to day accounting operations
• Supervise and review work of accounting staff
• Manage year end audit and ensure proper supporting schedules for external auditors
• Manage cash/banking activities and forecast cashflow
• Assist in due diligence for potential acquisitions
• Lead continuous process improvement
• Update and implement internal controls and policies and procedures
• Manage regulatory reporting and tax filings
