Join our team as we collectively provide the best care for our residents We are looking to hire a dynamic, energetic, and exceptional Assistant Director of Nursing for our skilled nursing facility. We need an individual who is a self-starter, skilled at communication, and a positive motivator. Responsibilities: • Reporting directly to the Director of Nursing and covering when the Director of Nursing is not in the facility. • Creating a safe, healthy work environment that supports delivery of high-quality resident care. • Creating a culture where highly engaged team members are able to contribute to the best in resident care and to grow professionally. • Assuring the best resident care by supervising and directing Nursing Personnel • Serving as a liaison for all nursing staff and nurse management • Making decisions regarding nursing and unit problems • Attending and supervising wound rounds weekly • Participating in facility surveys • Communicating effectively with staff, physicians, and resident’s families Requirements: • Registered Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing, with a current and valid RN license in New York. • Long-term care experience is a must. • Ability to work well under pressure, problem-solve, and multi-task. • COVID-19 vaccination is required.
