A beautiful Nursing facility located in the Bloomsburg, PA area is seeking an RN, Assistant Director of Nursing to assist overseeing all nursing operations of the facility. The ADON should be a hard-working and compassionate Registered Nurse who steadily developed their managerial and administrative skills. ADON - Salary 

• $80,000 - $95,000 depending on experience

ADON - Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee Quality Assurance, Infectious Control Program and Antibodies Stewardship
• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing service department, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
• Participate in developing, maintaining, and updating our written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of the nursing service department.
• Ensure that the Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current at all times and reflects the day-to-day nursing care procedures used by this facility.
• Develop and periodically update nursing service objectives and statements of philosophy.
• Assist in developing and implementing a nursing service organization structure.
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the Director as necessary/ required, concerning the operation of the nursing service department.
• Periodically review the department's policies, procedure manuals, job descriptions, etc. Make recommendations for revisions of policies, procedures, etc., to the Director of Nursing Services.

ADON - Requirements:

• Current PA RN license
• Prior ADON experience preferred, but willing to train the right person.
• Must pass background check
