Assistant Machine Operator $18.00 per hour + Sign On-Retention Bonus

FULL-TIME

$18/hr, plus $1000 new hire bonus, see details below

Duties include:
• Operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following indicated work methods.
• Makes ready, assisting operator and maintaining corrugated manufacturing press machine in which you are assigned. (rotary die cutters, flexo folder gluers, labeler and folder gluer machinery)
• Observing and monitoring machine operations to detect malfunctions and to determine whether adjustments are needed.
• Identifying, troubleshooting and correcting product defects caused by the machine.
• Performing routine adjustments during the machine run and maintains production throughout the run.
• Setting up and operating machine meeting established published specifications.
• Ensuring all orders are completed to specifications including “special instructions” if applicable.
• Identifying and makes basic repairs to the machine.
• Ensuring operation of machine and related equipment by completing basic preventive maintenance requirements according to operation standards.
• Running the machine meeting production goals.
• Maintaining housekeeping standards all the time.
• Training entry level crew members and other as needed.
• Conducting operations in a manner that promotes safety.
• Maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Complying with all IP’s safety, quality policies and protocols at all times.
• Keeping appropriate records and reports (complete forms, logs, and records accurately – as required).

Shift start: 7:00AM
Shift length: 10 hours

Signing Bonus-• $500 after 30 days of employment • $500 after 6 months of continuous employment
