Automation Tester

Position Description
CGI is seeking Automation Tester to join our growing team supporting Insurance clients. The successful candidate must be able to work in a cross-functional environment and interact with representatives from CGI and our end-clients. You will be responsible for managing testing and providing automation solutions to various projects.

This position is unlike any other and needs filling now, come join our talented team! Role can be preformed from the NY, NJ, CT, PA areas.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Design and oversight testing of the project
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Provide direction to QA people
• Analyze automation requirement and propose the framework design
• Conduct POC's using JAVA
• Should design and develop automation frameworks as per the client needs
• Should deliver the automation scripts on time with quality
• Should create proper documentation as needed for the scripts
• Should execute and maintain the automation scripts
• Should integrate the automation with CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with the other test leads to prepare and produce test result reports.
• Work seamlessly with geographically distributed teams.
• Work with the scrum master and help establish sprint activities and tasks.
• Participate in the daily stand-up and provide status updates, contribute to team meetings.
• Collaborate with the other leads in defect triage meetings.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Experience with UI automation tools (such as Selenium)
• Working knowledge of developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scenarios and test cases in Selenium web driver
• Working Knowledge on Automation Frameworks, BDD
• Relevant programming skills (such as Java / Python)
• Should have good knowledge on API test automation, performance testing
• Experience with Test management tools such as JIRA, ALM
• Able to multitask and work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Should be a quick learner and be able to adapt to the new technologies/tools.
• Ability to work with Business Analysts to ensure full coverage of business requirements and the ability to provide estimates on test execution.
• Knowledge of the test planning and test management domains
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player with ability to work in a rapidly changing environment utilizing good time management and prioritization skills, while maintaining high quality and being flexible to customer needs and timelines
• Self-motivated performer with a desire to work on a project team, learning and testing software features
