Resident Assistant

If you are a caring person and like helping other people, we have a great opportunity for you! Resident Assistants on all shifts. This position will be responsible providing routine nursing care for our residents in accordance with established policies and procedures. Responsibilities include:

  • performing all areas of resident activities of daily living per standard protocol and plan of care and ensuring that residents receive appropriate physician ordered meal trays, snacks and fluids;
  • providing an environment of acceptance, maintaining the resident’s right to dignity and respect;
  • maintaining a clean and safe resident environment, assures facility compliance with all applicable, local, state, federal and other regulatory agencies and facility policies and procedures; and
  • working collaboratively with other staff members as needed to ensure smooth, efficient facility operations.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED. Nursing Assistant exam and previous gerontological nursing experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate in a diplomatic and compassionate manner is essential. Demonstrated organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously is necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: up to $14.00 /hour, after Certified completed, will be $16/hour

Must be able to get to Loveland for clinical classes

RA OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Participates in (or conducts) company-sponsored training to safeguard against improper us and disclosure of resident’s protected health information. Monitors and ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and state and federal law.

  • By his / her signature below, employee agrees to adhere to and oversee communication of privacy guidelines relative to the confidentiality of residents' protected health information.
