Candidates should have their finger on the pulse of industry trends as well as prior experience writing for an online journal. This role is ideal for a curious individual with a willingness to research development leads, track permitting, and attend community meetings.

Essential Functions:

• Research and learn about upcoming and existing projects
• Write, edit, post and promote engaging copy covering Philadelphia’s real estate and development scene
• Frequently travel to project sites to take photographs and document project progress
• Attend community meetings, track permits and stay up-to-date on the activities of registered community organizations.
• Utilize SEO in articles to increase Naked Philly’s exposure

Education, Experience and Skills required:

• Outgoing personality
• Genuine interest and passion for Philadelphia real estate and development industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience posting to an online blog or journal
• Tech-savvy
• Familiarity with registered community organizations, permitting, and online neighborhood groups is a plus
