Your Role

The Broadcast Journalist & Host role at BetFully will represent the company and present materials as an energetic, fun, and engaging personality for pre-recorded and live streamed video content. You'll create daily content with weekly specials and longer special segments as needed. Content will be posted on the web, social media, mobile apps, and partner sites. You'll host interesting people in sports news, analysis, and sports wagering for the fast growing online sports betting industry. In addition to content creation, you'll be responsible for helping with marketing and tracking of all content to drive viewerships and user traffic. There will be a large marketing component associated to this role.

This position will start part-time but should grow into a full-time role. BetFully will invest time, training, and equipment for you so we’re looking for a highly motivated self starter. Below are some of the roles you’ll perform.

• Great on-air presence with clear communications skills
• Create daily content based on current events combined with a content plan
• Comfortable hosting and maintaining interesting conversations
• Writes stories, schedules guests, and ensures a solid content calendar
• Investigates special stories as needed
• Strong social media presence to engage with users and viewers
• Performs marketing functions to measure & manage traffic, analytics, and user growth

Your Experience and Skills

• Degree in Journalism, Marketing, or equivalent education and work experience
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Fluent in English
• Ability to ad lib when required
• Confident yet welcoming on-air presence
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and take on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Great listening ability to fully understand problems and communicate with guests, co-workers, and users.
• Work independently and self motivated
• This is an in-office role yet the company allows flexibility as needed
• 1 to 5 years of experience in related work or industry is preferred
