Truncated for limited space:
To prepare outgoing packaged product to meet customer and Company specifications using the Bonotto Package machine or Pan Line Packaging equipment. Standard packaging is ¼ keg size boxes in these areas. Assist in training of new employees.
JOB KNOWLEDGE:
1. Thorough knowledge of packaging systems.
2. Basic knowledge of computer usage and ability to learn the QAD system.
3. Knowledge of customer driven specifications.
4. Basic knowledge of part numbering system.
5. Print and service order knowledge.
6. Basic parts identifications.
7. Thorough knowledge of all material handling equipment.
8. Procedure manual location and contacts.
9. Thorough knowledge of all piece counting scales.
10. Basic personal computer skills.
PRODUCTIVITY:
1. Observes and reports maintenance problems to supervisor or leadperson. 2. Makes minor repairs on packaging equipment and assists Maintenance department with major repairs. 3. Uses forktruck to move product as needed. 4. Completes paperwork in a timely manner. 5. Sets up electronic scales for maximum accuracy. 6. Works productively throughout shift. 7. Assists in other areas as required. 8. Maintains customer requirement data. Must be available to work overtime as needed.
SAFETY/HOUSEKEEPING:
1. Follows all company safety procedures and reports any
safety hazards or violations to leadperson or supervisor.
2. Ensures machines and work area are neat and orderly.
Performs duties as requested by the Supervisor or Leadperson.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Mechanical aptitude.
Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
Good human relations skills; work well with others.
Communicate in English, with both verbally and written format.
Self-motivated.
Knowledge of IATF16949 and ISO14001 requirements.
Basic knowledge of personal computer operation.
Ability to obtain fork-truck license.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
Basic knowledge of fasteners. more
