Position Description
CGI is seeking a Business/Data Analyst (Data Conversion) to join our team!
Help extract data from a legacy system, transform into new formats and import in our new solution. We have developed a custom ETL process defined by rules and each rule will need to be validated. We need to analyze the solution and provide quality assurance on data conversion work. You will lead a team in meetings with our client to go over conversion reconciliation reports (summary analysis report) that this team creates.
Your future duties and responsibilities
• Support the Business Area leads in the detailed analysis and design of business processes
• Working with client business owners to seek clarity and understanding of the legacy business processes to determine appropriate extract logic for data to be converted
• Working with developers and articulate business logic
• Research issues and open items
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Skill Set/Years of experience:
Business/Data Analyst (Data Conversion) - 2 to 3 years
Strong analytical skills - 3 years
Detailed oriented - 4 years
Client relationship skills - 3 years
Oral and written communication skills - 4 years
Able to run meetings with client - 4 years
Experienced in data migration, data mapping, data validation and data reconciliation - 3 years
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Skill Set/Years of experience:
SQL - 1 year
SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) - 1 year
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's Degree
Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $56,000-$100,000*
