Job Description

Location: Sheetz Corporate - Claysburg, PA

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:

Support Store Design Specialists with the preparation of conceptual site plans and architectural drawings for remodels, refreshes, resets and other store improvement projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (other duties may be assigned)

1. Assist in the preparation and coordination of sign drawings in accordance with brand standards for new stores and remodels/ refreshes for use by the Real Estate and Engineering Departments.
2. Assist with canopy drawings for the Petroleum Department for use in bidding new installations and remodels.
3. Support with shop drawing reviews of building equipment, furniture and casework to insure dimensional conformance.
4. Assist with the preparation of Addendums and Field Orders.
5. Support in the posting of bid set drawings to the document sharing sites with the construction department for bidding purposes.
6. Assist in the coordination and preparation of support documentation as required for permitting and / or approvals (ie sign details, testing data and calculations).
7. Print, plot and bind drawing sets as well as fulfilling print requests.
8. Maintain an up-to-date filing system of drawings on network. This includes scanning city approved drawings for other departments.
9. Provide maintenance and operational functions for the plotters and copiers.

REQUIREMENTS: (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)

Education

2 year degree in related field

Experience

• Minimum 1 year in an Architecture and/or Engineering setting required
• Minimum 1 year experience using AutoCAD Architecture software developing building drawings required
• Experience with building codes, materials, and systems preferred
