The Opportunity:

Safety-Kleen in Sparks, NV is looking for a Commercial Driver Trainee to join their safety conscious team! As a Commercial Driver Trainee you will be sponsored to receive your CDL B. Once you receive your CDL, you will be tasked with providing coverage for our Tanker & Box Truck Route Drivers. Monday - Friday with weekends off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Visits 3-5 customer sites per day
• Picks up waste oil at customer locations driving a class B tanker truck
• Delivers chemicals in 15 & 30-gallon drums in a class B box truck
• Loads and unloads trucks and assisting with warehouse duties as necessary
• Shift: Monday - Friday
• Early morning start between 4:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.
• May work an occasional Saturday based on business need
• $21.00 / hour
• Paid overtime after 40 hours in the work week
• Overtime required as needed to meet customer expectations
• Great opportunity for CDL Class B Drivers just out of school

What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen?

• Valid Drivers License and Clean NVR
• Ability to operate a manual transmission is required
• Previous route service preferred
• Previous warehouse experience required
• Forklift experience required
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to use a mobile device
