Orchid Cove at Dade City is a 120-bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in Dade City, FL.  We are looking for compassionate caregivers to help our residents live their lives to the fullest.  Within our organization we believe that our residents don’t live in our workplace, we work in their home.  If you are looking to join a team of passionate and dedicated caregivers, we would LOVE to have you!

What you bring to our team:

·        Active Florida CNA license

·        New Graduates:  Must take and pass the CNA license exam within 120 days of employment to remain an employee of Orchid Cove at Dade City

·         Current/active CPR certification preferred

·        Effective verbal and written English communication skills

·        Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality

·        Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure

·        Problem solving skills

·        Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change

As a CNA, you will provide care to our residents to include but not limited to:

·        Provide personal care (grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care, etc.) of residents

·        Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics

·        Routinely turn and position residents as necessary

·        Observe residents carefully and report changes in condition to Charge Nurse

·        Participate in collecting accurate date on residents to include vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information as assigned

·        Other duties as assigned

This Baylor Program will require staff to work two (2) sixteen hours shifts for a total of 32 hours throughout the weekend.  Weekend shifts will be considered any shifts between the hours of 11:00 PM Friday and 7:00 AM Monday.  Employees who agree to the Weekend Baylor Program and who meet all expectations will be paid an additional eight (8) hours of pay for a total of 40 hours for the work week.

Eligible Positions:  CNA

To receive the additional 8 hours, employee must meet the following expectations:

•             Clock in and out on time, as scheduled

•             Work the entire 32 hours over the designated weekend hours

•             Must work every weekend

•             Must not call out for any shifts within the same weekend

•             Must follow a regular facility attendance policy

Additional Information: 

•             Facility regular pay scale and shift differentials will be used when determining rate of pay.

•             Employees will be eligible for full-time status and will be benefit eligible.

•             Employees may choose to pick up additional hours throughout the week.

•             Overtime pay will be paid ONLY for hours that employee physically works over 40 hours per week.
