The position of Healthcare Concierge will coordinate new admissions to the facility and function as the resident liaison by responding to customer service requests and resolving problems.  This position will ultimately be responsible for personally enriching the lives of the people we serve and enhancing our overall customer service.  The Healthcare Concierge helps provide a comfortable transition to the facility and smooth admissions process.  The responsibilities of the position will range widely based on the needs of the client.  This position requires you to be flexible and accommodating. Responsibilities will often include doing many daily tasks.

 

Responsibilities include:

·         Coordinate internal admissions process

·         Weigh new admissions upon arrival to facility and obtain vitals

·         Provide a shower/bed bath for new admission upon arrival

·         Act as customer service liaison for the facility

·         Complete resident inventory

·         Follow up on admissions concerns from residents, family and staff

·         Give tours of the facility

·         Contact residents to ensure that all of their needs are met and the experience is positive

·         Assist residents, family members and visitors with any special requests or arrangements

·         Report any customer service concerns to the Administrator

·         Demonstrate a passion for caring as evidenced by interaction between co-workers, residents, families and visitors

·         Maintain a professional appearance and a clean organized work space

·         Perform all other duties as assigned

·         Must be flexible with hours – Normal hours are 2pm-10pm

 Requirements:

·         CNA certification required

·         2 years of professional experience, preferably in a long term care environment

·         Basic computer literacy and skills

·         Exceptional communication, customer service and people skills

·         Outgoing, friendly personality

·         Good organizational skills, follow up and follow through

·         Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time

·         Self-motivated, can work independently

·         High desire to work with the elderly

·         Must be able to deal tactfully with team members, other staff members, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the general public
