Home Health Aide Duties:

·       Develop friendly, supportive relationships with care recipients

·       Encourage care recipients’ independence when applicable

·       Ensure safety and wellbeing of care recipients

·       Assist with bathing, grooming & general hygiene

·       Assist with transfers

·       Light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, sweeping

·       Meal preparation

·       Accompaniment to doctor’s appointments

·       Run errands as needed

·       Other skill specific care can include incontinence and/or memory care

Home Health Aide Required Qualifications:

·       Enjoys working in a one-on-one setting

·       Eager to improve and continuously learn new skills

·       Compassionate individual who strives to provide quality care

·       Demonstrated competency in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and related skills

·       Insured, reliable vehicle

·       Valid driver’s license

·       1-3 years of experience with a homecare agency and/or a facility

·       Ability to pass a criminal background check & drug screening

·       Ability to read, write & understand English as needed for the job

Home Health Aide Preferred Qualifications:

·       Ability to lift 50lbs

·       Comfortable with pets

·       Weekend availability

·       Memory care exp
