CNA Instructor

CNA Instructor responsibilities:

• Conduct classes for registered students who wished to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and facilitate sessions when necessary for Practical Nursing Programs.
• Demonstrates a thorough and accurate knowledge of clinical and Practical Nursing programs.
• Works constantly to inspire students for academic competencies and a career in clinical nursing.
• Collaborates with faculty members to prepare students for clinical and simulation instructions.
• Enforces appropriate code of conducts amongst students and increased expectations of students in the classroom in compliance with policies/procedures of the college.
• Effectively uses modern technology including, but not limited to e-mail, MS Office, and online communications tools.
• Adheres to student’s learning objectives and uses appropriate evaluation methods to measure student progress toward a learning objective.
• Maintains an accurate, complete, and correct records for each student as required by law.

Qualifications for the CNA Instructor:

• High school diploma
• CNA Instructor Certification
• Leadership qualities
• LTC/SNF experience
• Compassionate, kind nature
• Leadership qualities
