Seeking Part Time CNA 7am-3pm/every other weekend

JOB SUMMARY:  The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for delivering direct care to and providing a therapeutic environment for the residents of the facility under the supervision of the Licensed Nursing Staff, in accordance with established facility policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.

 EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:  High School or GED diploma, as well as an active certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in New York State. 

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

1. A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a nursing home facility with knowledge of gerontological problems and awareness of Federal and State regulations relative to resident rights issues and long-term or acute care.
2. The ability to relate to long-term care/sub-acute rehabilitation individual’s needs.
3. Good communication skills; must understand English; written, oral and listening.
4. Must be able to observe and demonstrate proper safety and sanitary techniques.
5. Must be a team player, able to work independently, and with a wide variety of individuals.
6. Maintains a responsible and positive attitude.
7. Good organizational skills.
8. Must be able to multitask.

Must be fully vaccinated.
