SIgn on bonus $5k for FT, $3k for PT

Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or designee (Nurse Supervisor), the CNA provides basic care for residents in accordance with the approved Care Plan.

Education

Required

· High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred

· Training/Experience in Gerontology, Alzheimers and Dementia

Licenses & Certifications Required

· CNA Certification in Wisconsin

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

· Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

· Ability to communicate with residents in English to monitor and assess their needs. Must be able to speak clearly so others can understand.

· Knowledge of relevant equipment used for resident care and protection.

· Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
