A BRIEF OVERVIEW
We are a medical device industry leader supporting five major customers across various regions in the USA. Our top products include Trauma Screws, Spinal Implants, and Dental Drills. As a CNC Machinist I, you will contribute to the production of medical devices by operating and learning set ups on CNC 3 - 7 Axis machines, with the ability to identify X, Y, Z and 0 coordinates. Machine types includes CNC Lathe, CNC Swiss Screw Machines, and Tornos with ability to operate manual machine tools to cut, drill, shape, and finish quality products with supervision. Experience with CNC Machining in a manufacturing work environment is preferred.
WHAT YOU WILL DO

• The Machinist, CNC reports directly to the area Supervisor.
• Performs basic machining functions to produce parts.
• Operates multiple machines simultaneously.
• Monitors the machine to ensure proper program performance.
• Completes shop work orders, inspection documentation, and daily maintenance sheets.
• Makes off sets and adjustments to machines with moderate supervision.
• Advocates for the health and safety of self, co-workers, customers, and the community.
• Support quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures, work instructions, and forms per the Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Completes all required training.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Or Equivalent (Preferred)

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• Lean Manufacturing Experience (Preferred)
• Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing (Preferred)
• 1+ Years of Experience Operating Machining Equipment in a Manufacturing Environment (Preferred)

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Machining Trade School (Preferred)
