Overview:

The Cardiopulmonary Rehab Nurse works under the supervision of the Director of Cardiopulmonary Services, and is responsible for the delivery of efficient, safe patient care through the use of the nursing process, hospital policies and procedures. Responsible for daily operation of the Cardiac Rehab Program and performs patient assessments, monitors patients, interprets ECG’S, supervises exercise therapy, educates and counsels patients about risk factor modification, and communicates with other members of the cardiac rehab team.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing School.
• Licensure: RN Registered Nurse in Missouri.
• Experience: One year of previous clinical experience.
• Certifications: BLS Basic Life Support Within 3 Months Of Hire
• Other:
  • Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills are required, and must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Must be able to operate various types of office equipment, including a computer, fax machine, telephone, printer and copy machine.
  • Preferred Education: BSN preferred.
