Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Caregiver, Home Health Aide or CNA to join our non-medical home care team. This is a long term assignment located near Costco in Mount Pleasant. Saturday and Sunday Shifts from 9am-5pm.

We are growing fast and there are many exciting opportunities for well qualified Caregivers, HHA’s, CNA's and Senior Companions. Caregivers, HHA’s, CNA's and Senior Companions must also speak English well; have a clean arrest record and a good driving record. A background check will be provided to all potential applicants. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $17-19 /hour

Responsibilities: 

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Requirements: 

• Desire to work with geriatric community
• Pass Drug Screening
• Pass Background check
• Have a Current Valid Driver's License
• Must have own Vehicle and Valid Automobile Insurance
• Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Dedication and compassion to provide the very best care for your clients
• Must be punctual and reliable
