Connected Health Care has been engaged by our client, a state-of-the-art community based hospital in Santa Fe, NM, to recruit a full time Cath Lab Manager to join their team! Job Responsibilities:
The Cath Lab Manager is responsible for safe, effective, patient care in a department, providing leadership and promotion of staff development. Assures appropriate implementation of policies and procedures, allocates resources to the delivery of patient care, assesses the effectiveness of resources and recommends changes facilitating a positive work environment and collaboration with all members of the health care team. Is responsible for daily operations of the Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology Lab (IR). Coordinates all work and call scheduling efforts of the CVIR nurses and technologists. 

Education / License / Certification:

• Currently licensed in the State of New Mexico or Compact State as a Registered Nurse and in good standing
• AART licence 
• Two years experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, OR, ER or CICU required.
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required (must be obtained by the end of the month after 90 days of hire or placement)
• Bachelor of Sciences or active pursuit of degree, preferred

Experience / Skills:

• Previous leadership experience, preferred
• Interpersonal skills necessary to instruct and comfort
• Analytical skills necessary to prepare patient plans of care, implement effective nursing care and develop solutions to problems concerning patients’ mental or physical well-being.
• Attention to detail and concentration
• Ability to work in fast-paced, ever-changing environment
