Requirements of the Certified Home Health Aide-
  • High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
  • At least 1 year experience as a Caregiver/ Certified Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
  • NJ Licensed as Certified Home Health Aide a must
  • Must be fully covid vaccinated & booster
  • 2-step PPD
  • Phycial within the last 12 months
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile
Responsibilities of the Certified Home Health Aide-
  • Provide assistance with daily tasks at the clients home or in the facility: including bu tnot limited to: meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping. 
  • Assist clients with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing. Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. 
  • Varied assistances is required depending on the mobility of the client.
