This full-time, permanent Certified NETA or NICET Field Technician opportunity is at a small electrical power solution provider to Fortune 500 companies. The successful candidate's duties will include:
- Reading and understanding electrical drawings
- Inspecting, testing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electrical power distribution systems including automatic transfer switches, circuit breakers, conductors, relays, starters, switchgears and transformers
- Starting up and commissioning electrical power distribution systems including automatic transfer switches, circuit breakers, conductors, relays, starters, switchgears and transformers
- Operate infrared thermography cameras
- Documenting detailed reports upon completion
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
- NETA or NICET Certification
- An engineering degree
- Two years of testing and evaluating low, medium and high voltage electrical power systems
- Ability to travel up to 30% (usually Monday through Thursday on site and home Friday) for field service work
- A solid work history
- A US citizen or possess a green card
- A residence within 45 minutes
