Job Description

North Beach Rehabilitation Center is conveniently located in North Miami Beach, just south of Aventura. We have worked hard to become an established member of the community, providing skilled nursing and rehabilitation care to local residents and their family members. As a small center with only 99 beds, we excel at providing the customized skilled and therapeutic care our clients need and deserve. Come join our dedicated nursing team!

We are currently looking for CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants) for all shifts. F/T, P/T and PRN opportunities available. Immediate consideration! 

Openings:

  • 7-3pm - Per-Diem and Weekends
  • 3-11pm - Per-Diem and Weekends
  • 11pm-7am Full-Time and Weekends (Friday - Monday)

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), your responsibilities include the following: 

  • Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
  • Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.
  • Provides adjunct care by administering enemas, douches, nonsterile dressings, surgical preps, ice packs, heat treatments, sitz and therapeutic baths; applying restraints.
  • Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information.
  • Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients' call lights and requests; reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.
  • Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
  • Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping patient information confidential.
  • Serves and protects the community by adhering to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and jcaho standards.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations; maintaining licensure.
  • Enhances nursing department and facility reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Job Requirements :

  • Valid CNA license (Required)
  • Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community (preferred)
  • Demonstrates proficiency at reading and understanding a Resident Plan of Care or assignment (e.g., ADLs and introductory visits)
  • Understands quality of care objectives
  • Understands quality of life objective
  • CPR (Required)
