CNA Trainee

We are currently looking for energetic and passionate CNA Trainee’s for all shifts to assist Residents in our sub-acute rehab and skilled nursing facility.

Description:

  • Responsible to provide routine daily resident care services in accordance with the resident assessment and care plan and as may be directed by supervisors, assist in the maintenance of the environment, assist any resident who is in need and confers with either the Unit Manager or Charge Nurse regarding any problems.

Job Function

·         Participate in and receive report regarding status of assigned residents at beginning of shift.

·         Provides direct resident care in accordance with the plan of care while ensuring resident’s privacy and dignity are preserved.

·         Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information including health information.

·         Ensure that all residents are treated fairly and with kindness, dignity and respect.

·         Perform all job duties according to the highest standards and goals established for this job position.

·         Exhibit the highest level of customer service towards residents, staff and visitors.

Requirements

  • Go through proper training course per state guidelines for TNA training.
  • Willing to function under the direction of the RN Charge Nurse, Unit Manager Assistant Director of Nursing and Director of Nursing
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.

Physical Requirements

  • In good physical health
  • Functions independently throughout the workday
  • May push, pull, move supplies on carts weighing up to 50 pounds as required.
