Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician, under medical direction and by order of physician, you will perform a full range of respiratory therapeutic modalities and diagnostic measurements for patients requiring cardio-pulmonary services in both critical and non-critical care areas on all age groups except neonates. What qualifications you will need:

• Completion of an AMA approved 1- or 2-year Respiratory Therapy Program
• Current State of California RCP license
• Successful completion of the NBRC CRT exam.
• Current BCLS.
• Current PALS
• Recent respiratory care experience in an acute care facility including adult critical care.
• Competent in the performance of oxygen and aerosol therapy, hyperventilation therapy, volume measuring devices, pulmonary medication delivery, sputum induction, chest physic-therapy, airway maintenance, emergency respiratory care equipment and procedures, arterial blood gas puncture and analysis.
• Competency in adult critical care procedures, including ventilator management and all its adjuncts.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
