We Are Hiring:

Certified Surgical Technologist
Department:  Operating Room
Schedule:  Full-Time, Dayshift. 6:30am start time. 5, 8-hour shifts. 40 hours per week. Late stay required.
Location: Ascension St. John Broken Arrow

Ascension St. John Broken Arrow offers a state-of-the-art Surgical Services department and skilled surgeons to meet your unique needs. The Surgical Services department has 8 operating rooms, 2 special procedure rooms and a recovery area.

What You Will Do:

Facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.

• Prepare surgical operating suite with sterile drapes and sterile solutions as well as appropriate sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies.
• Hand required/requested instruments and supply to surgeon during surgery.
• Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
• Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor/track instrument counts throughout procedures.

What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Surgical Tech required.

Education:

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
