Job Description

Redstone Animal Hospital, located in Littleton is looking for a full-time Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our amazing team.  Ideal candidates should have the following skills or be willing to learn these skills for newer technicians:

·         Excellent Team Work

·         CVT License or in process of being certified

·         Animal healthcare knowledge

·         Competence with anesthesia monitoring and surgical assisting  

·         Dental Prophalaxis

·         Patient recovery care

·         Compassionate care for pets, with attention to detail

·         Ability to collect lab samples and run appropriate tests (venipuncture and catheter placements) we run a variety of in house testing!

·         Familiar with drugs and the ability to calculate drug dosages and fill prescriptions accurately.

·         Use proper technique and positioning for radiology

Starting pay range for this position is $20-26 per hour depending on experience.
