CHIEF NURSING OFFICER

Connected Health Care is searching for a Chief Nursing Officer to join a critical access hospital located near Hemingford, NE. This facility is looking for an organized, passionate, and hard worker to be a great addition to their team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB SUMMARY:

• Organize and administer patient care services in all nursing areas to attain hospital objectives.
• Plan, implement, evaluate, supervise delivery of patient care.
• Develop and maintain organization policies, budgets, and personnel.
• Provide leadership in nursing issues in accordance with the hospital administration team and with Federal, State, and local regulations.
• This position serves as a role model for ethical behavior and promote awareness of the hospital standards, mission, and vision.
• All nursing departments are supervised.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, critical thinking skills, and ability to handle stressful situations.
• Maintain strict confidentiality.
• Understand business computer systems and software including Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.
• Management skills.
• Read and interpret financial statements.
• Willing to work flexible hours to meet hospital needs and demands.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing and current Registered Nurse Nebraska License.
• BSN required/MSN preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Patient Care Services management.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC, NRP and TNCC.
