Clamp Truck Operator

FULL-TIME

$21.54/hr, plus $1000 new hire bonus, see details below

Pay:  $17.87/hr for the first 90 days then $21.54/Hr (+ .33/hr shift diff for 3rd shift)

Clamp Truck Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

- Relaying messages to proper personnel promptly regarding necessary adjustments.
- Assisting Corrugator crew as assigned by supervisor.
- Turning in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.
- Being proactive in the maintenance of equipment.
- Adhering to production schedule.  Makes recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality, and service goals.
- Reporting any unusual scheduling issues to Supervisor.
- Learning to back up Stacker Operator and Bander when necessary.
- Placing protective top and bottom sheets and inserting tie sheets when applicable.
- Counting and verifying unit and inch counts of units.
- Ensuring proper load tags are in each unit.
- Operating corrugator conveyor lines and unitizer when applicable.
- Learning to read corrugator lineups.
- Restacking, flipping stack, and hand banding units as necessary.
- Assisting in the training of dry-end personnel.
- Complying with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
- Completing additional duties that may be assigned by management.

Schedule

Shift start: 7:00AM or 7:00PM
Shift length: 12 hours
2nd Shift - 7am-7pm or 3rd Shift 7pm-7am working a 2-2-3 Schedule.
