The Defense group at Leidos currently has an opening in Springfield, VA on the RECON project, in support of the NGA's Research Directorate. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting edge technology in an R&D environment and support critical warfighter missions.

This position will assess inputs and outputs of project tools involving computer vision and Pattern-Of-Life algorithms to identify sources of success and failure in terms of target detections and change detection. Requirements include experience with computer vision (acquiring, assessing, and labeling imagery to support computer vision training and evaluating algorithm results), image mensuration (using standard mensuration tools to map between image and geographic coordinates and analysis of mapping results for problems and positional accuracy as a function of image parameters),   data set management and  support (maintaining imagery, ground truth, detection and other associated data set files for the project).

Required Experience, Skills & Education:

• Active TS/SCI with Poly
• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience with electro-optical imagery and familiarity with radar imagery
• Software Skills: IDL, Python, RemoteView, small amount of C++.S
