Primary Purpose

Participates in all phases of construction work for Parkland, serving as a work leader with regard to planning projects, material inventory, equipment maintenance and leading construction crews to ensure completion of projects to meet Parkland's policies, procedures and applicable laws.

Education:

  • None


Experience:

  • Must have five years of construction experience.


Equivalent Education and/or Experience:

  • May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for the experience requirements.


Certification/Registration/Licensure:

  • Must have a Texas Class C Driver's License and be insurable. Must have access to an automobile.


Skills or Special Abilities:

  • Must have knowledge of construction practices, methods, techniques, costs, materials, and equipment.
  • Must be able to read and interpret engineering and architectural plans and specifications.
  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of safety practices in the construction industry.
  • Must be able to perform mathematical computations.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing.
  • Must be able to demonstrate effective organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be physically able to lift heavy loads, walk, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders.
