General Purpose: Responsible for the financial affairs for both Urban Printing, Inc. and Urban Waterproofing, Inc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Oversee quarterly and year-end financial closings.
- 401k plan fiduciary responsibility and oversight
- Insurance and Bonding: Negotiate and ensure insurance policies are in full force and effect to protect the Companies against risks inherent in our business operations. Maintain historical records to ensure coverage in the event of a claim. Assist with claim management. Prepare renewal information as necessary for insurance and bonding relationships. Manage year end insurance audit.
- Ownership transition matters. Work with ownership team and outside business attorneys to plan and execute business succession.
- Business combination duties including due diligence management and business integration
- Tax point person with outside CPAs
- Manage compliance matters. See that all required financial periodic filings are completed timely and accurately.
- Manage banking and borrowing arrangements
- Act as point person with outside auditors
Our Ideal Candidate
- College graduate-Bachelors degree minimum
- CPA preferred
- Experience as a financial manager in the AEC industry
- IT Systems experience a plus
- Personable and outgoing
- Positive attitude
- Self-motivated with an excellent work ethic
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Excel and Word
Compensation
- Starting salary between $100,000 to $175,000 depending on skills and experience.
